Gluten free Peanut Butter Quinoa cookies

Quinoa cookies

This is a delicious gluten free recipe which is low on sugar and high in protein!

For added crunch, protein and vitamin B12's, try putting sunflower seeds on top before baking - they are a great touch.


  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla paste

  • 1 cup rice flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 3/4 cup quinoa flakes


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Combine the honey, sugar, butter, peanut butter, vanilla, rice flour, baking powder and quinoa flakes in a bowl. 

  3. Line a baking tray with baking paper, roll small balls from the dough and place on the tray.
  4. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool before serving.
