Folate is very important for rapidly dividing cells and is found in most leafy green vegetables and in liver! Folate is easily destroyed via cooking, so try to eat your greens raw or lightly cooked. Not sure about raw liver though!

Iron is another nutrient essential for collagen production and deficiency can reduce the skin's ability to heal. The main sources of iron are in the haem form (animal sources such as meat, poultry, fish, organ meats) and non-haem forms (beetroot, nuts, legumes, grains, vegetables).
